Position:
We are looking for a Marketing/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This job includes a substantial marketing role to help us expand into new sectors, as well as perform general office administrative tasks. Previous marketing experience is a major plus but not necessarily required. An ability to communicate easily on the phone and initiate calls is required.

We are a General Contractor in our 83rd year of service in New Jersey.
For over 50 years our focus has been public schools and other municipal, county, state, and federal building projects. We are currently expanding and marketing into the private sector.

Duties: |
The Marketing/Administrative Assistant will support all of our departments: executive, estimating, and project management. This includes answering phones, filing, copying/scanning, data entry, record keeping, sending and receiving correspondence by fax and email.
In addition the marketing role includes managing a contact information data base, telephone marketing and follow-up. Supporting our electronic and social media marketing presence is a key responsibility. The position involves basic computer skills in a network environment. We seek a team member who is eager to learn and take on additional tasks as needed. |
Qualifications: |
We are looking for a person who is motivated and prepared to play a major role in our company’s future. We seek an individual who will relate well with the members of our company team, including the subcontractors, owners, architects, and construction managers involved with our projects.
Integrity, motivation, and intelligent thinking are required. Experience and education requirements are flexible. Some administrative experience in the construction field is a plus.
This person should be organized and comfortable on the phone. Some writing will be required including writing drafts of marketing pieces and announcements. Ability to use Microsoft Office is necessary. Ability to work in social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) is a major plus.
