Duties: |
Outside and Inside Sales
Generate leads and new customer relationships through networking, meeting with local building officials, home shows, conventions, cold calling, email and/or direct mail campaigns, etc.
Create technical proposals for commercial and residential installation of electronic (audio-visual, security, automation, fire) systems.
Customer service follow-up and surveys. Commision is based on new sales and residuals, so maintaining excellent customer relationships is key.
Ensure that hand-off to project manager goes smoothly and assist with the customer relationship as necessary until successful project completion.
Following and helping us to continually improve a defined sales process, filing accurate reports on a timely basis, participating in team meetings as required. |
Qualifications: |
Minimum 3 years commission-driven sales experience in a technical field (home entertainment or security system preferred)
Proven track record of increasing both new and on-going sales.
Familiar with manufacturing processes and understand mechanical applications.
College degree preferred.
